Oaths are the eighth book in the Dragon Blood novel series. It is a work of science fiction and fantasy and this book is written by Lindsay Buroker. She is known for writing science fiction, high fantasy, steampunk, and other adventure novels. If you explore her literary archives then Patterns in the Dark will come out as one of her best. The Blade’s in the Dark is also another very good novel from the author.
The audio narration of Oaths is done by Caitlin Davies. She performed with great energy and was able to grasp the mood of the characters with perfection.
At the start of this book, you will find out about General Ridgewalker Zirkander who was getting married.
The lady who had fought dragons and shamans along with countless adversary soldiers at Sardelle’s side has also accepted his proposal.
It seemed to be the ideal time for having a wedding. It was almost two months since the time any sorceress or dragons had attacked that city. Co fat didn’t come at all after King Angulus, their abducted emperor had stopped shouting at Ridge. That was done earlier for the inadvertent role that he had in the destruction of the castle.
The resident dragon was the one who thought that he was a god. It was about the pressure on Ridge for building a temple for the man. Yes, it was still considered to be the ideal time for the wedding. There were many hiccups there though, but still, the wedding was expected to go smoothly.
This book is the final one in the series but you will be glad to know the way it ended. You will be thoroughly satisfied with it. The author was there with his creative best and so was the narrator of this audio novel.
