Alice Audiobook
The name Alice makes us remember the story of “Alice in Wonderland”, ironically this Alice is in the land of horrors and nightmares. She went to a tea party for the sake of some fun and then she opened her eyes in the land of horrors. Alice didn’t know how she got there but the hospital in which she was kept as a prisoner was an awful place to be. Throughout the day and night, the only thing she could hear was the yelling and crying of other people present in that place.
She thought that her life was over and then a fire in the hospital allowed her to escape that mysterious place. The girl didn’t come out of the hospital alone rather there was something hideous attached to her that she was unable to comprehend. Instead of returning to the hospital, Alice started a quest to get to the core of the matter so that she can understand what has gone wrong with her and why she landed in such a devilish place.
It is author Christina Henry at her best in this novel, the way she has portrayed the horror is incomparable. Jenny Sterlin’s narration will also make the audience forget Looking Glass and Near the Bone within no time.
The name “Alice” would be added in the world of horror after this novel as this is not the girl we saw in the wonderland. Mysterious creatures hiding in the shadows can give a creepy feeling at night for a very long time to come. Alice also makes her life touch for herself but she has left being afraid.
