It is cursed that the warriors of the past used to fear more than anything. Julian was a Spartan warrior known all over the land for his bravery and acts of courage. He fought a lot of battles in his lifetime and won almost all of them. Dying on the battlefield was something he wasn’t afraid of because the death of a hero on the battlefield is the best thing. But the enemies of this warrior had other plans in mind. He was cursed as a love slave for eternity and this happens to be torture for him.
The hero is bound to a book and any woman who has the book can have Julian in her bedroom for love. In the last two thousand years, the hero has served many women in bed and this has made his life just terrible. Sherrilyn Kenyon paints the pathetic life of the hero who just wants to fade away now. Meeting Grace Alexander was something new for Julian because she didn’t only want him for love but she also loved him back. After a span of two thousand years, the hero finds true love and he thinks that Grace can break the curse.
Shadow Fallen and Bad Moon Rising were with fight scenes, this one the other hand has love scenes in it. Carrington MacDuffie narrates a lot of love scenes in the novel but the real one gets into gear when Grace comes to the scene. Grace fills the atmosphere of the novel with romance and true love, she after thousands of years shows the outside world to the warrior.
