Seven books are not enough when an author is dealing with a theme as strong as this one. Even if the theme crumbles at any point the feelings and emotions present in the novel keep things going. Most of the time a strong character in the novel keeps everything under control and we feel no weak links in the tale. Amun has the demon of Secrets in him and this makes him something quite special because he can play with the thoughts of anyone present near him.
Not only he can play with the thoughts but he can also force that person to obey him or be ready to face the consequences. Luckily Amun is not the evil sort of a creature and he likes to help others instead of trying to manipulate them. Then more demons come towards him and he is unable to control himself and the demons which now possess his body.
This mighty warrior suddenly becomes a threat to those whom he loved once. The people around him lock him up so that he cannot create further damage of any kind. In the prison, Gena Showalter adds another character in the story i.e Haidee.
The presence of this single being makes Amun able to try something new in life. If you have The Warlord or Heartless somewhere buried in your mind then this book is specially designed for you.
