Book gives the picture of the complete journey of the soldier who performed wonders in the Iraq war. At that time Alex heard about a deadly virus and then on his return home he prepared for it because he was fully aware that the time of catastrophe is soon arriving. When the virus attacks the United States the man is stunned because the situation was deadlier than his expectations. When the second book starts we observe that Alex is still thinking about saving his family because he can do nothing for the rest of the world.
The third book then takes the hero to Boston and it is again a rescue mission as the cure of the problem is not found yet. Book four opens with new surprises for the veteran as he realizes that the government has some different plans in mind and if the plans are executed then several of his friends would be compromised.
Issues related to the protection of the masses and the proper supply of food arise at a terrible point in time for Alex. Steven Konkoly makes life tough for his main guy in the story and there is always a life at stake in this series narrated by John David Farrell. Skystorm and Black Flagged: The Complete Series Boxset can be listened to along with this but this is a boxset and will keep you engaged for a very long time.
Good thing is that you don’t have to buy each book separately as you will get the entire thing in one pack. The story begins in a state of action and till the end, there is no rest for anyone who is listening to it.
