You may also check out Shadow Game, the first novel of the aforementioned series.

Tom Stechschulte is the narrator of this book. Once you listen to him, you can’t think of anyone else in the role.

Urban warfare seems to be an art for Mack McKinley and his team of killing machines of GhostWalker. He has a solid knowledge of the San Francisco streets, but he knows that many things can go wrong nonetheless. The danger was just an inevitable part of the equation, as he came face-to-face with a woman who knows how to play tough. Jamie is a woman with a stare enough to kill a man. She and Mack had a history, but the memories of that aren’t sweet. Now that she is back into his life doesn’t spell good for Mack. She’s teaming up with Mack to take on an enemy that can destroy them both.

This is one of the best series with a great list of characters that uplift the storyline to great levels.
