International Player is a beautiful romantic novel written by Louise Bay. She is the bestselling author in USA Today. She writes contemporary romance and sometimes erotica novels as well. Mr. Mayfair is an exciting contemporary romance novel from the author. Mr. Knightsbridge is another brilliant attempt by the author on the romance genre for which she is known for.
Saskia Maarleveld and Shane East narrated this book. It was a very fascinating performance and added a good value to the audiobook overall. I was always labeled as a player but that never restricted me from being fruitful with the women. This remained the case until I was introduced to Truly Harbury. She was the very first girl who rejected me. She was the first female friend as well that I ever had. On top of that, she might also be the first girl with whom I felt true love.
She needed my immediate help in an emergency. It was to run the charity that was run by her family, which wasn’t doing well at the time. I happily introduced her to the glitz and charm of the business world of London. I took her to multiple dinners and coached her through different speeches. The more we both had time together, the more I tried to convince her that I am not someone to avoid. I urged her to think that we are not incompatible to the point that she thinks. But for her, things were a lot complicated.
International Player no doubt had a very slow start. But, when it picked up the pace, it went quite well till the end. It is the kind of novel that you will love to experience more than once. Thanks also to the narrators’ duo for their emphatic performance.
