The Billionaire’s Promise is a contemporary romance book. It is the fourth book in the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires novel series which is written by Ivy Layne. She was into book reading at a very young age and soon took that passion to write professionally. The Billionaire’s Secret Heart and The Billionaire’s Secret Love novels are also from the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires series. All these three books under discussion are highly recommended.
The audio narration of The Billionaire’s Promise novel is done by CJ Bloom and Beckett Greylock. Both of them did well, but it could have been way better if Beckett had narrated more chapters with her sexy and attractive voice. For a couple of years, I held Vance Winters off, and right up until the day my fiancé dumped me for off for his mistress and Vance kissed me senseless.
Vance Winters was six feet of extremely charming mayhem. He had wicked blue eyes, blond hair, and golden skin covered in tattoos. The trouble was that I should have taken a single look and run back in the opposite direction. I should have also told him to take his job offer and shove it up his ass. I should have done there a lot of things.
I wouldn’t lie. One touch of the mouth of Vance to mine was much better than all the four years that I spent with my ex. I was so much tempted., but not stupid. How many different women I had escorted from his bed in the last couple of years? Vance was not known for keeping the commitments and I was tossed aside quite a few times. There was no way at all that I was going to throw my broken heart at his feet, even if I suspected that the orgasms are worth it.
The book started with a bang but it fell a little flat in the middle. But then it gets back on track soon. Overall, it will be a good listening experience.
