Dr. Strange Beard is a contemporary romance novel. It is the fifth book in the Winston Brothers novel series which is authored by Penny Reid. She is a part-time author of romance novels and she is also working as a biotech researcher full-time. Even in her part-time capacity as an author she has done a decent job with books as good as Elements of Chemistry and Drama King. The audio narration of Dr. Strange Beard novel is done by Chris Brinkley and January LaVoy. The narration was just average as there were issues with mispronunciation.
A decade after his heart was broken by Simone Payton, all that Roscoe wanted to have was a doughnut. He would also prefer to forget her completely. But that will never be going to happen. Roscoe remembered everything. That included every word, every look, and every single unrequited second. Moreover, the very last thing that he needed was to have yet another memory of Simone. Unfortunately, after getting another chance encounter, Simone kept popping up everywhere he happened to be.
A decade after Roscoe dropped completely out of her life, all that Simone wanted was to exploit him. She would also like to have some answers coming from her ex-best friend, about the reasons behind ghosting her. But if she never gets the answers for that then that would be fine as well. Simone seriously had let go of the past quite a long time back. She was not thinking about Roscoe anymore. But before she forgets about his existence, she just needed one tiny favor…
The Winston Brothers novel series is exciting but Dr. Strange Beard is probably the weakest book in the series. The average narration also couldn’t make the experience any better for the listeners.
