The Rivals is a contemporary romance novel. It is written by Vi Keeland. Hate-Notes is one book of the author to look for. Stuck-Up Suit is another brilliant title that Vi Keeland has written. The audio narration of The Rivals is beautifully done by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. We were at the altar when the feud triggered between me and Weston Lockwood. Neither of us attended the wedding only and the nuptials happened several decades before we were born.
Our grandfathers were close friends and business partners as well. That was the case at least until the wedding day of my grandfather. That was the day when his bride-to-be cried out that she couldn’t marry him. The reason given was that she was in love with her grandfather of Weston. The two men spent a couple of years fighting over Grace, who was also their third business partner. But in the end, neither of then could steal even half of her heart.
Finally, they all parted ways and took on their path in life. Our grandfathers then married different women, and the two men eventually become significant business rivals.
Our fathers continued with the family tradition of feuding. Then same was the case with me and Weston as well. Mostly, we tried to maintain as much distance as possible. But things changed on the day when the woman who started that feud died. She unexpectedly left behind some of the most valuable hotels in the world which were for our grandfathers to share… The Rivals is the sexiest book of Vi Keeland to date. The character development had major scope for improvement though. But on the other side, the narration was flawless.
