Forbidden Falls

Forbidden Falls is the ninth installment in the series of Virgin River. It is written by Robyn Carr as a contemporary romance novel. This story is about a recently ordained minister looking for an assistant that will surely end up being more than an assistant. Robyn has numerous awards to her name and has written other interesting books such as Second Chance Pass and Sunrise on Half Moon Bay.

Thérèse Plummer has narrated this book. She is an expert narrator that gives an exceptional performance most of the time. This time is no different, as she narrates the book, the characters come to life in front of our eyes.

Reverend Noah Kincaid is not afraid of challenges. He has been recently ordained and he came to Virgin River for an abandoned Church. He bought it on eBay and wants to reopen it. Renovating it might be a tall task, but nothing that can’t be solved with some loving care. The place is a bit empty inside, just like Noah.

Then he meets Alicia Baldwin. She is a former exotic dancer that wants a stable and respectable job. She has to do this to regain custody of her children. She is stunningly beautiful, a bit stubborn, and headstrong. Pastor’s assistant isn’t something that springs to mind when one sees this beauty in tight shirts and short skirts. But these things work in mysterious ways and the pastor can’t help but admire her motherly determination. Over here, anything is possible, even happiness at an unlikely place.

This book of Virgin River continues to expand the series further with its amazing characters, funny plot, and delightful scenes. It is a charming, hot, and sexy book that is filled with positive characters. Not only are the main characters worthy of attention, but the side characters and their plot is also interesting.
