Feral Sins

Feral Sins is the introductory book in The Phoenix Pack Series. It is written by Suzanne Wright. Suzanne has a plethora of paranormal romance novels besides this one. Give When He’s Dark, the first book in the Olympus Pride Series a try. You can also listen to Burn written by her.

Jill Redfield is amazing as the narrator of this book. It is said that the best narrators are those that you don’t notice while immersed in the book. It is true in this case. She takes us on a deep dive into the rich novel.

Taryn Warner is a female wolf shifter. She encounters Trey Coleman, an alpha male wolf. Trey has developed quite a reputation. He was only fourteen when he defeated his father and assumed charge of the pack. Taryn tries her best to resist the charm of the alpha wolf. He surely can’t have anything to offer besides trouble. However, this was her mistake. She finds herself entering an arrangement with him. She can’t resist his arctic-blue eyes and forceful demeanor. Both ally with each other. They have to convince their respective pacts that they’ve chosen each other as mates.

Through this plan, Trey will gain valuable political allies while Taryn will escape from an odious mating. Still, there are ways that the plan can go south. Both the wolf shifters might be unable to avoid the growing attraction for each other. If that happens, they will be unable to pull off the deception.

The novel is very hot with extremely tantalizing sex scenes. The story isn’t bad either for a typical erotic paranormal romance. Even though it is a bit predictable, that doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of the book.
