Don’t do one thing in life if you are a lover of fantasy i.e leaving Danielle Steel’s books aside when you have the chance to listen to them in James Babson’s voice. These books have love, emotions, and suspense to the highest level. Fall from Grace was a real class of its time and it is also praised in the same way till now. Steel unveils the career of a celebrity at the beginning of this novel as we see Meredith in her prime youthful charms.
Meredith was the one who was ruling Hollywood at the peak of her career and she thought that she would never be replaced. An accident took place at that time and Meredith got deprived of everything she had in her grasp. It was a big loss for her and she thought that the world has closed its doors on her so she shut herself behind the closed doors of her mansion.
Fifteen years after that tragedy another tragic incident took place when an earthquake hit the area in which Meredith was living. Suddenly Meredith had to open the doors of her mansion for her neighbors as her house was the only one that wasn’t damaged in the process.
The people in the neighborhood got amazed to know that Meredith had been living right next to them all these years. Unlike Without a Trace, the people in this novel come close to one another and start sharing the secrets of their lives. For Meredith, it is more like coming back into society and the appearance of a detective in the mansion brings more light to her house and also her life.
