Whenever Robyn Carr’s series are on the go, the people are desperate to get the next part in their hands as quickly as possible. The author does not keep the audience waiting for a very long time because there is not a lot of time difference between one book and its next part. For most of the epic tales which are written by Carr, Therese Plummer has remained the narrator for these books.
There is a nice coordination between the stories and the narrator Therese Plummer. Promise Canyon and The Wanderer will also be considered after this and the cause of this selection would be the excellent description of scenes and better than ever narration. Sierra Jones is having a dejected time in life and there is no way she is going forward and there is no chance of going backward either. Thus she is stuck in the middle of the road with no help from anyone.
She thought that going to her brother Cal at Sullivan’s Crossing might be a good idea. Cal had recently married Maggie and both of them are really busy in their own life. When Sierra comes to them, they welcome her with open arms and provide her with the support which she was looking for in life. Here in this new place, she meets Sully who starts supporting her emotionally as she needed that kind of help as well.
When the past starts coming back to Sierra, she thinks that she must stand strong this time or she will land in a dark pit out of which she will never come out alive. She has been blessed with trustworthy people on this occasion which provides her the moral support that she has been looking for previously.
