At Thunder Point, miracles do happen for those who have been in search of love. True lovers always get a chance to unite and sometimes they get multiple chances in life. However, utilizing those chances in the perfect way is up to the lovers because if they waste those opportunities then their decisions can bring disaster to their life in a short time.
Deputy Sheriff of the town, McCain has wasted an opportunity of living a happy life once and he is not going to repeat that mistake again. After his wife left him without any reason, he has started thinking that he hadn’t been well in the relation because of which it broke.
So when he met his old friend Gina James again, he decided that he will not fall behind in relation to this second opportunity. Both the characters were playing the role of single parents and they thought that they could ease each other’s burden if they join hands. Gina is eager like Mac is starting this new chapter of their life when Mac’s ex-wife returns to the town and shatters everything for them. It is completely up to Mac to decide that what he wants in his life because it is his decision that can make or break everything which he holds dear to his heart.
Sunrise Point and One Wish are written with the same approach and Robyn Carr has introduced many mature characters in this story if we compare it to other novels. Therese Plummer has still managed to get things going in the same way through narration. The narrator didn’t want to bring any kind of change in the voice quality because it was not necessary.
