Anita is there in this part of the long story still the story is chiefly dependent on Rafael. Rafael has been keeping the wererats and the vampires out of trouble for a long time. It is his judgment that has made this happen and all the creatures are living in peace. Not all the wererats believe in Rafael’s strategies and there are some who want to challenge his rule but they don’t have the power.
The group of rivals thinks that Rafael is actually depending on Anita all the time which is not the right way to move forward. Thus the vampires and wererats cannot live together for a very long time and there is a threat that the vampires might get the upper hand if the fight starts between the two groups. This time a powerful wererat emerges against Rafael and he can pose a serious threat to his rule if the source of his power is not investigated in time.
