Happiness is granted to everyone who comes to the Virgin River with good intentions. This is a place of miracles designed by the author Robyn Carr. People meet just because of sheer coincidence and then they become one after a lovely collection of events. This has been happening in this series for the previous eight parts and the ninth part is not very different in terms of pattern and narrator who is once again Therese Plummer.
Plummer is the one who has given voice to A Dangerous Business, Dreamland, and many other stories of this category. So with that massive experience, the narrator has come down to this one with full attention. Noah had not had much to do after losing his wife so when he got the job of revitalizing a church, he readily accepted it without a second thought in mind.
He never had any idea that God had bigger plans for him. Alicia i.e the beautiful dancer needed a job because she was ordered to find a decent job if she wanted custody of her children. This beautiful lass was looking for a job and when she came to Noah he became quite pleased to listen to the whole tale. Noah was impressed to see the love of the woman for her children and he developed a love for her within no time because of this.
While working for the church the two also started getting closer and they understand how God works in a perfect way to bring individuals closer to each other through chance and coincidence. Noah and Alicia cannot say that they started loving each other from the start but they had mutual respect for each other after the first meeting.
