Robyn Carr’s works are not difficult to understand when everything comes to us in the voice of Therese Plummer. A love story with passion and purpose in it is not for those who only listen to books for the purpose of sensation. There are many things that can be added to a love story and Carr knows all of that. Being the first part of the series, this book has many things about this place that the author has named Thunder Point.
It was The Homecoming that painted the picture of the return of the native but Cooper here is not the native of the place. He is the man who likes roaming around here and there all the time. For years Cooper hasn’t been able to get settled in a particular place and loving someone for the rest of his life is something that he hasn’t thought about. Cooper comes to Thunder Point because a friend leaves a property for him in this part of the world.
All he had in mind was to sell the property as quickly as possible and then move on with his traveling activities. However, the people of this town were so different and caring especially Sarah who just stole Cooper’s heart.
It was like the place was inviting him to stay forever. Cooper knows that if he decides to stay then he must save the place first from the hands of the investors who want to have this place for their own personal goals. Quickly like Sunrise Point this place becomes special for the primary character and he decides to help the people in order to win his love.
