The guilt is killing him from the inside because now he has started thinking that he has killed the wrong man. Dollmaker was the name of the criminal who was bringing havoc to the city a few weeks earlier. The man was killing women after which he used to leave signature marks on their faces.
Then Harry shot the killer on one occasion but now the wife of the dead man claims that his husband was not the Dollmaker. Harry wanted to prove that he had killed the right guy but it was not possible because soon there is another murder with the same pattern.
It means that the Dollmaker is still out there and Harry has made a big mistake. For the sake of this case, Harry must look deep into his mind because the answer lies in his past somewhere and he has to bear the pain once again.
