She is aware that she is different but she has not considered that uniqueness as a gift. Thrown out of the house by her stepmother, Cinder thinks that she has no chance of a better life.
Her stepmother thought that she was the cause of her sister’s illness as she happens to be an android so she had to leave home. In the world of androids and humans, Cinder never thought that she would become so much important to society. Although she was quite good with the machines and had the ability to create a few as well but finding a prince on the way was never in her thoughts. Prince Kai meets Cinder and he thinks that she can help him in saving the world.
The lunar people are keeping an eye on humans for a long while and they are waiting for the right time and opportunity. Cinder can help in the establishment of a defense mechanism against the enemies and also against the plague that is eating the people in quick time.
Rebecca Soler’s voice will remain with the series for a long time so it will become familiar if you haven’t heard her voice before. Marissa Meyer hasn’t tried to complicate things very much here. Cress is present for the fans and there is also an opportunity to go for Cursed any time after this novel. These stories tell you about the passion of the people to survive against all kinds of circumstances.
