The Minuteman Audiobook
The Second World War didn’t bring any kind of good news for the Jews because they were eagerly hunted in all parts of the world. The governments of different countries started thinking of these Jews as a threat or a curse that they have to remove as quickly as possible. Such a thing happened in New York as well and here the author Greg Donahue takes us back to that era when a certain group was formed in New York and it wanted to drag the Jews out of the country.
The situation was quite alarming for the Jews so they decided to create a force of their own for defense purposes. The people who had come to fro0m Germany thought that they should also form a force of their own because no one was helping them at all. So against the haters present in the political groups and also among the masses, the Germans formed a group who were named the Minutemen.
These men were ready for all kinds of situations and they were ready to act all the time. So the Germans finally started thinking of themselves as well protected in the presence of this group. Jonathan Davis has also tried to show us the urgency among the Minutemen while narrating the book.
It was not a rescue party that was acting after the happening of the incident rather it was a line of defense that no one was able to pass. If you think that the book is imaginary like Desert Star then your expectation is wrong because the author has taken several things from real-life events. The group was actually there in New York at a time when there was hatred for the Germans.
