The Da Vinci Code is a mystery thriller novel. It is the second installment in Robert Langdon novel series which is authored by Dan Brown. He is from the USA and is mainly known for writing mystery thrillers where Robert Landon’s novels are his best. Apart from the subject title, Angels and Demons are another good one from Dan Brown. Moreover, The Lost Symbol is also a very good book that the same author has written. The audio narration of The Da Vinci Code novel is done by Paul Michael. This was not an impressive performance and his French accent was horrendous.
Robert Langdon, the Harvard symbologist while on a business trip to Paris received a sudden, late-night call. The old curator of the Louvre was murdered right inside the museum. Police just next to his body discovered a baffling cipher. While working to solve that case, Robert Langdon was stunned to find out that it led to a long trail of clues that were hidden deep within the work of Da Vinci. Robert Langdon teamed up with Sophie Neveu, who was a highly gifted French cryptologist. He came to know that the murdered curator of the Louvre was part of the Priory of Sion. The story of The Da Vinci Code is quite thought-provoking, entertaining and in a way, educational as well. There might be a few reviews objecting to the theme of the book but the plot was excellent, and the story was beautifully constructed over it.
