Cormoran Strike had no experience taking on any cold case before. But despite having slim chances of success here in that 40-year-old case, he was quite intrigued and took that on. That added to the long list of cases on which he was working along with Robin Ellacott, his partner in the agency. Robin on the other hand was dealing with a messy divorce and going through unwanted male attention along with battling with her intense feeling for Strike. As they both started the investigation of the disappearance of Margot, they found themselves up against a complex case that led them both to a psychopathic serial killer. [Troubled Blood Audiobook]
The book has an okay story but is quite drawn out. The obnoxious poems in every chapter were annoying to the listeners.
