The Sandman: Act II Audiobook
Neil Gaiman is a wonderful author and narrator, this is the book he has written and narrated at the same time. There are other names in the narration section as well like Emma Corrin, John Lithgow, and Bill Nighy so everyone has coordinated well for this second part of the series. Just like in the first part, there are serious and sinful activities that are going on in the story so it is better to keep the kids of the house away from the story because they might not be able to digest all of this.
Morpheus happens to be the Lord of Dreams which means that he can control anyone’s dreams so when you are dreaming you are actually in the domain of Morpheus. Long ago an organization captured Morpheus and they locked him up for many years out of his domain. [The Sandman: Act II Audiobook]
When he was able to free himself, he was horrified to see that the realm of dreams was completely destroyed in his absence and there were many things that were out of order. He went to the dungeons of hell even in order to regain the lost glory. Now in the second part, Morpheus is back in business because he has established a stronghold once again. Remember that this book is not comic like Nice Girls Don’t Bite Their Neighbors and everything which is happening here is quite serious. Morpheus finally thinks of enhancing his domain so he goes as far as the French Revolution and then the eighth century too. Thus the Lord of Dreams looks busy all the time in this second installment.
