Phantom Evil is a paranormal romantic suspense novel. It is the first chapter in Krewe of Hunter’s novel series. The book is written by Heather Graham. One of her better novels that you will surely enjoy is The Silenced. Apart from this, The Forgotten novel is another title from the author that is worth your time.
The audio narration of Phantom Evil novel is done by Jeffrey Cummings. It was an annoying narration with a flat voice and no accents.
A secret government used was set up under the lapse of Adam Harrison who was a renowned paranormal investigator. The six members whom he had gathered knew a little bit of the otherworldly type where each type had honed a psychic talent of their very own.
Jackson Crow was part Cheyenne and part English who headed the group. He was deeply haunted by his very own experience that was with some ancestral ghost who managed to save his life when he was a child. With the recent murders of a couple of previous teammates, Jackson just couldn’t tell if Adam had devoted him or provided him with an extraordinary opportunity. Despite his link considered with the realm of the spirits, he was well aware that the living commits most of the heinous crimes along with the spiritualist charlatans existing just to seduce and fool the unwary.
To counterbalance the careful skepticism of Jackson, Adam paired him up with Angela Hawkins. She was a young woman who learned the hard lesson about loss at a very young age.
Heather Graham is an intelligent storyteller. The story was mostly good, except for the ending which could have been better.
