This book is so much fun for everyone, the school life of a kid is described in a completely different way. The zombie apocalypse and the innocence of a school boy are blended in this book because it is a zombie boy who is going to school for another year.
Like any young human boy, the zombie is hopeful to find new friends during his second adventurous year in school. At the same time he is afraid of the mob which has teased him and other students in the past.
Highly ironical to see fear in the heart of a zombie but that’s how the author Zack Zombie writes his books. The author wanted to keep the fun alive in this series as it is written intentionally for the kids.
Listening to this book will mean that a kid is watching the zombie world in a completely different angle. A zombie with feelings is close to the human world and away from the world of monsters for sure. Only he appears to be a zombie and from the inside he has a heart of gold.
Difference which is observed in the second book of the series is that the main character is trying to motivate himself in order to help others. The previous year’s raging tortured his soul but he has found courage to emerge on the scene one more time.
Narrator Nathan W. Wood knew what was going to happen at the end that’s why he too provided a stronger voice to our hero zombie to tell us about his emergence.
A listener will find A Scare of a Dare equally interesting and in Diary of a Minecraft Zombie, Book 4: Zombie Swap the little zombie will show what he is truly made of. The story has motivation for the young kids that will help them to face the troubles at school boldly.
